    Sunday Vibes

Happy Sunday, sweet friends!!! I cannot tell you how much I LOVE flower season!! I spend most Sunday afternoon’s, during the summer, outside, working in my yard as my boys run around and play. It’s my favorite day of the week! What is your favorite day of the week? These sweet lavender colored roses are right out of my garden, and placed in my very favorite vase that I got from Pottery Barn, and it’s on sale today! I love how simple this vase is, and it make arranging flowers a breeze. Just stick the flowers in the vase, they always look effortless, yet beautiful. If you want to check…

Furniture Transformation & DIY Chalk Paint

Happy Friday y’all!! I’m so excited that we finally made it to another weekend!! I wanted to quickly show y’all an adorable little table that I bought for just $5 at my local thrift shop. With a couple coats of chalk paint, a little distressing, and staging, it sold it in less than an hour! I totally forgot to take a “before” picture, but just imagine it…an ugly brown, dirty, and pretty banged up when I bought it. And now…Such a cute little table! To be honest, the best part about transforming pieces of furniture to sell, is that, one, I love doing it, and, two, I love seeing buyers…

    My New Found Treasures

Happy Friday Eve, doesn’t that sound so much better than “Thursday”? Today, I am so excited to show y’all some of the treasures that I found while on vacation. As you can probably tell, I mostly got a bunch of glass/breakable items, I just couldn’t help myself! I was on a mission to find all the white, chipped, crazed, and worn pieces of china that I could fit into my suitcase!! I think these little finger bowls are so sweet!! These little bowls would have been filled with warm water, used to wash your fingers off between courses, so charming, right?!! And look at these plates, crazed to perfection! Crazing…

    Thrifted Treasure ~ June

Hello, friends!! Happy Monday! Today, I am so excited to show y’all what I found for this month’s thrift store challenge! I found six charming metal feathers. When I picked them up, I was a little unsure of what I would do with them, but I always love adding unique pieces to my decor, and knew that I had to get them! The are the perfect combination of rust and gold. My kind of treasure!! With little holes at the top and bottom of each feather, I thought they would be perfect hung from a chandelier. I also found quite a few little glass jars for just $.10 each! I…

    Furniture Transformation ~ Coffee Table

Happy Thursday, friends!! My little family vacation has almost come to an end. We get home on Sunday. We have been gone 2 1/2 weeks, which feels like such a looong time! While I absolutely love having a break from everyday life, love spending lots of uninterrupted time as a family, and of course, visiting amazing antique stores, it’s always nice to get back home and get back to a normal schedule. Am I totally weird for feeling that way? Anyway, this week, for my furniture transformation, I wanted to share with y’all this darling coffee table that I found on the Facebook marketplace. One of my favorite Antique Malls

Happy Monday, friends!! I have been having so much fun hanging out back East with my family. One of my favorite things about being back here, is all of the great antique shops, flea markets, and auctions. One of my very favorite antique malls to visit, is called “Beaver Creek Antique Mall”, in Hagerstown, Md. I have been visiting this antique mall every summer for that past 15 years. There is never a time that I leave empty handed. There is ALWAYS something that I have to have! Here are a few pictures of one of my favorite booths this time… Every single thing in this booth is DARLING!!! Look…

    A Sweet Little Desk Transformation

Happy Thursday, friends!! I hope you’re having a lovely week! I’m having such a great time, spending time with my family on our little family vacation! Last Thursday, I shared with y’all a dresser that I bought, painted, and sold. After writing that post, and mentioning that I wanted to be more deliberate in spending time doing something that I love, specifically being creative and painting/restoring furniture, I have decided to try to transform at least one piece of furniture every week. I briefly talked to my husband about my plans to start a little side gig, of painting and fixing up furniture to sell. I guess he liked my…
