French Vintage Friday – Vintage Lace

Happy Friday, friends! Are you excited for the weekend? I sure am! I am hoping to get outside to work in my yard, but so far it looks as if it’s going to be a rainy weekend. Thankfully April showers bring May flowers! I can hardly wait for flower season!!

Today, for French Vintage Friday, it’s all about vintage lace! Ever since I can remember, I have been a collector, borderline hoarder, of ribbons and lace. Delicate vintage lace gets me every time!!

I love to tie a snippet of vintage lace or ribbon here and there, it adds such a sweet delicate touch.

Tie a piece on a handle of a drawer…

On a basket…

Or a bucket…

Display it in a case…

Or in a frame…

I bet you can tell, I adore old lace!!

Let’s hop over and see what Tara is sharing today! I know she recently got quite lucky at an antique store and found lots of vintage goodies! It is always so exciting to hit the vintage jackpot! I am excited to see what she is sharing today!! Simply click on the picture below…

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!

Sending you all lots of love and sunshine!!

  1. I have so much very old lace from my grandmother. Like you I’m starting to use it for displays.

At first I felt guilty because her collection is very old. My dad said she love you using it in different ways than keeping it in the draw.

So that’s what I’m going to do.

  2. I absolutely adore all your lace and how much attention to detail you give every little vignette. I need to keep my eyes open for more lace and trim because I just love the sweet romance it gives.

  3. You have the most beautiful style. Your eye for detail is amazing!
