Top Shelf Clearance Challenge ~ April

Hi again, friends!! Y’all know how much I love our monthly clearance challenge! It’s so much fun to try to create something new, or add to something, using things that I find on clearance. I am always so much more creative, when I am forced to think outside the box. This month, I found a few clearance items that I will be able to use throughout the year. First, I found another vase on clearance at Target, for just $4.48! I also found a little crate/box at Hobby Lobby for less than $4! And two small metal urns at Michael’s for just a little more than $3 each! I painted…

    An Easy Spring Inspired DIY

Happy Friday, friends!! You know that I love the weekend, because it means more time for projects! But first, before I started weekend-ing, I want to share with y’all this super easy, inexpensive spring DIY. When I think of spring, the first thing that I think of is flowers and nature. So, naturally I wanted to create something flower related. Also, this lamp that I just got, is one of my new favorites! All the sweet little animals on it, completely make me think, spring! When my sister and I saw it, we totally thought it looks like it would be at Anthropologie, but nope, it’s at Target, which means…

    Desk Refresh

Hey there, lovelies! Hope you’re having a wonderful week!! It’s been a little rainy here, but no worries, I LOVE the rain!! It’s so calming and soothing to me. I’m in Utah, we don’t get too much rain here. If it did rain a lot, I’m sure I would feel differently about the rain. Here is what it looked like before…I loved the red, but my son didn’t. And, whereas it is his desk, I wanted him to love…

    Little Boys’ Room

Happy Monday, sweet friends!! Thank you so much for all the sweet words about my DIY hutch, that I posted on Friday. Y’all are the best!! Over the weekend, I finally got around to finishing this little corner in my little boys’ bedroom. I recently found this little red stool at a thrift store, for just $4! It’s always so exciting to find things at the thrift store! The two shelves are made from vintage perforated metal trays. I added a little wood shelf to the top tray. I’ve seen similar trays at hobby lobby, if you want to make some shelves like these. I stained, and added white wax…
