Five minute, Two Dollar DIY Christmas pillow cover
Hi friends!! I hope your day is going well! Tara and I are back for our weekly holiday DIY! Today, I am sharing a super quick and easy pillow cover. I found these cute tea towels from Target for just $1 each. After unrolling the tea towels, give them a quick iron. Then, using a hot glue gun, I glued the two towels together. Leaving the top open to slide the pillow insert in. I don’t sew, otherwise I would have sewed these, instead of using glue. I should really learn how to sew! After the pillow insert is in, glue/sew the top closed. Simple as that, you have a…

A casual holiday table setting
Happy Monday, friends!!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I recently received some magnolia flower plates from Arthur Court, which led to this tablescape!! I started with the candle holder that I made a few weeks ago. You can click HERE to see how I made it. I then layered on some fresh greenery… And finished it off with dried hydrangeas, pinecones, and other natural elements. I tied the silverware with ribbon, and done! Super easy, yet feels so festive! Aren’t these plates so cute! And, they are made of melamine, so they won’t break, which is definitely a plus when you have young kids (or clumsy adults). I…

Foraged Beauty – A DIY Advent Wreath
Happy Thursday, friends!!! I hope you’re having a wonderful week! Today, I’m sharing something that I have wanted to make and incorporate into my holiday traditions for a few years now, an advent wreath. An advent wreath is a Christmas tradition that originated from Germany, in the 1800’s. On each Sunday of Advent, a candle is lit, by the last Sunday of Advent, all four candles are lit. Some Advent wreaths include a fifth candle, which is lit on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Advent 2020: •Sunday, November 29 •Sunday, December 6 •Sunday, December 13 •Sunday, December 20 For my advent wreath, I started with some natural elements, fresh evergreen clippings…
