Great piece, love myself some ironstone. Finding a tureen is the best especially small which are harder to find

I just love this little dish and it is PERFECT for fall. You’re a lucky lady! My husband would never think to get me something like that and wouldn’t know ironstone if it jumped up and tripped him! I wonder what it was intended for with those holes in that bottom part?
I was wondering the same thing about the holes?
That pattern is called Tea Leaf! Beautiful!
