Faint Touches of Fall – a cozy corner

Happy Tuesday, friends!!!!

Today, Tara and I, have added a few fall-ish touches to a space in our homes.

I created this little area in the family room.

The slipcovered chairs and the chippy cabinet were in the living room, but I moved things around last week when I did the mantel, and brought the settee into to the living room. I love moving furniture from room to room, it makes the space feel so fresh and new!

I’ve been wanting to use this antique fruit drying rack for a while, and thought it would be perfect to hang on the wall with a fresh eucalyptus wreath. To make the wreath, I simply pushed fresh eucalyptus stems into a grapevine wreath. So easy!!

And, look at these mums!! I found them at Walmart today! Such huge blooms! Love them!!!!

Yay for simple changes that make a big impact!

  1. I absolutely love those mums! I haven’t seen any with those huge blooms around here but I will be looking for them for sure! I love how you are always moving your furniture around. It makes it almost feel like a completely new space. I have a home that pretty much only allows for furniture to be in one place in one room so I can’t do that as much as I would like. That fruit drying rack is adorable!
