Happy Friday, friends!!! I hope you’re all having a good week! It’s Friday, which is always exciting! Today, for French Vintage Friday, Tara and I are each sharing how we have decorated our mantels for winter. After taking all the Christmas decorations down, everything feels so empty and sad. It’s fun to add a few winter touches to keep things feeling fresh and happy! A faux cedar garland, fresh eucalyptus, and a few flocked pinecones for this easy winter look. French Vintage Friday – Christmas Entryway
Happy Friday, friends! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week! Can you believe Christmas is just one short week away! Today, for French Vintage Friday, I’m sharing my entryway, dressed for Christmas. I kept it simple with vintage sheet music that I rolled and taped to the walls, old books, a nativity, vintage ornaments in an antique ironstone tureen, and my favorite candelabra. Surprise Box Challenge – Christmas Garland
Happy Friday, friends!!! Today, I am so excited to be joining some sweet and talented blogging friends for a fun challenge, hosted by Terrie from Decorate and More With Tip. For this challenge, we each sent and received a box of surprise items, that we then used to create something. I received my box from Tammy from Patina and Paint. Happy Thursday, friends!!! It’s time for our monthly thrift store challenge! Yay! For all those that don’t know, I am a true procrastinator! Just yesterday, I was starting to stress because I had not gotten anything for this month’s thrift store challenge. Then, out of the blue, my little brother stopped by and brought me the cutest tool box. He had recently found it at a thrift store, and knew I would love it! It was a miracle! Happy Monday, friends!!! Today, I’m so excited to be joined by a few friends for our monthly thrift store challenge. I found a darling table that I was going to redo, but I ran out of time. Thankfully, I also found a tureen. It’s not old, but I still really like it! I decided to use it on the shelf in my kitchen. I took pictures of the shelf styling process, so you can get a sense of how I go about it. I started by filling the the tureen with pinecones. Goodbye summer, Hello autumn! – bedroom mantel
Happy Monday!! I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend!! Today, Tara and I, are showing y’all how we have each decorated the mantel in our master bedroom for fall. I started by gluing, using hot glue, my DIY autumn garland to my mantel, then added a couple vintage books, some pumpkins, eucalyptus, and flowers. I wrapped small grapevine wreaths around the three center pumpkins. I simply unraveled a grapevine wreath and then wrapped it around the pumpkins for a little added texture. I also added just a few flowers to the wrapped pumpkins. So easy, unique, and fun! For flowers, I used wax flowers, protea, and pink spray roses. I’m…
