Today, I am so excited to continue on with our “Christmas is July” series. Today it’s all about decorating the open shelves in our kitchens.
These shelves are my favorite place to start adding seasonal decor. Having four growing boys, I am in my kitchen A LOT, so having some of my seasonal treasures on the shelves to admire while I am cooking and cleaning my day away makes my heart so happy!
I love seeing all of my vintage treasures on these shelves, but I also love having functional decor so I have started to add things to the shelves that my family uses day to day. These cute seasonal mugs are used a lot throughout the winter months. I hope to add more functional things to the shelves every season.
Vintage Santa mugs are something that I collect throughout the year. I hope to have a huge collection one day! Their sweet faces make my heart so happy!!!
And, of course, adding some vintage books is always a good idea!
