Hi friends!!! I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day!!
Here is a super quick and easy way to add a little aged patina to terracotta pots.
What you’ll need…
• garden lime
• terracotta pots
• paint brush
• bucket or container to mix the lime in
• clear spray paint (matte finish)

Start by adding some garden lime into a bucket/container with just a bit more water than lime, you can always add more water as you go to create a consistency that you like. I let the garden lime sit in the water for a few minutes before mixing, this helped the granules dissolve. I think I will add a little less water to mine next time for a thicker paste.

Once the garden lime is dissolved and mixed into the water, simply brush it onto your terracotta pots and let dry.
Once dry, seal with a clear coat. I used a clear, matte finish spray paint.
