French Vintage Friday – fall wreath

Happy Friday, friends!! We made it to the weekend! Yay!!!

Today for French vintage Friday, both Tara and I are sharing a wreath that we made for fall. I had planned to make a fresh eucalyptus and white pumpkin wreath, but when I got to Trader Joe’s this morning they were completely sold out of eucalyptus! This never happens! Thankfully I had the next best thing, a beautiful faux eucalyptus wreath. It would be perfect to use as the base for my wreath.

This faux eucalyptus wreath is from lights.com. Click HERE to shop this wreath. It is the most realistic eucalyptus I have seen and is the perfect wreath throughout the year, so versatile! In the spring and summer months it is perfect as is, and now for fall I am going to simply add white pumpkins and ribbons for a fall look.

To add the pumpkins, I simply pushed a small twig, from a grapevine wreath, into the bottom of each pumpkin and then pushed it into the wreath base. I didn’t want to use glue or anything that would damage the wreath, because I plan on using this wreath for many years to come throughout the different seasons.

Now that I have all the pumpkins in place, I’m going to add a few ribbons for that extra touch that I love!

I chose some colors that I loved from my big pile of ribbons, tied a bow, and wired it onto the wreath.

I love this wreath!! Once I get my front door painted, I may hang it on the door, or I may leave it on the hutch. I always love to have a wreath hanging on this hutch!

Let’s hop over to Tara’s blog to see the beautiful wreath she has made! simply click on the photo below…

Thank you so much for stopping by today!! I hope you all have an amazing weekend!
