Halloween porch with new front door color

Happy Monday, friends!! Can you believe Halloween is just a few weeks away? I haven’t always been big on decorating for every holiday, but while my boys are still young, I want to make every holiday feel special which means decorating and making everything feel festive!

Before decorating my porch for Halloween, I painted my front door. It feels so good to cross it off of my long list of things to get done. The color is a Farrow & Ball color called “setting plaster”.

After Halloween, I will take down the bats, switch the wreath and turn the jack-o-lanterns around for a fall porch.

But for now, it’s ready for my youngest son’s favorite holiday, Halloween!

One of my favorite, easiest touches to my porch this year are the tall branches my front door.

I wanted to add some height, and initially thought of corn stalks, but then decided on some dead branches with bats. It was super easy and free, my type of decor!
