Happy Saturday, sweet friends!!! I hope you all have had an amazing week!!
Today, I am so excited to be joining a group of friends for the Lifestyles Of Love Blog Hop, hosted by the very sweet and super talented, Cindy from County Road 407. This month we are each sharing one of our beloved vintage collections.
One of my favorite collections has always been vintage Christmas. Over the years, as my vintage Christmas collection grew, it turned into several small collections.
For today’s blog hop, I am sharing my Santa collection and showing how I created a centerpiece using these cuties that I have gathered over the years. Some are vintage, some are antique, and some are new, but I love them all!
Start with a basket/container add a secondary (smaller) container inside the basket.
I started by adding small pieces of wood of varying heights, which I glued down inside the smaller container, to create little risers for the Santas to stand on.
I glued the Santas to the pieces of wood. I want everything to stay in place and the hot glue will easily peel off when I’m ready to put my collection away for the season.
Once I had all of the Santas in place, I filled the little open spaces with fresh greenery and some fairy lights to add a bit of whimsy and magic.
When creating something like this, make sure you have your collection standing at different heights so you can easily see all the pieces in your collection.
I love how this turned out! I always love finding new ways to display my collections. A basket/container is such a great way to pull a collection together for a big impact!
