For my thrifted treasure, I found a small antique drop leaf table, for just $20! I’ve been looking for a cute coffee table for a few weeks now, but haven’t found the perfect one. That is, until I saw this table. I knew that with some paint, and a few inches cut off the legs, this would be the perfect coffee table! And here she is! A few inches shorter and white. perfect!!! I love how visible the wood grain is, even through the paint. I am absolutely loving this…

French Vintage Friday ~ vintage sheet music
Hi again! Did you like the “surprise box challenge” that we shared this morning? I thought it was such a fun challenge! Today, for French Vintage Friday, I’m sharing something that I love to incorporate into my holiday decor each year, vintage sheet music. I simply rolled sheets of vintage music, tied each roll with gold twine, and taped each one to the wall, using painters tape. Such a simple idea, but adds such a fun touch! Let’s hop over and see what Tara is sharing today! Simply click on the picture below… Sending lots of love to you all!! Happy weekend!! -Emily

DIY Winter Village
Hi friends!!! I hope you’re having a good week! Can you believe Thanksgiving is just about two weeks away! Christmas is going to be here before we know it! Today, for our weekly Christmas DIY, both Tara and I are sharing how we have transformed basic paper maché houses. I absolutely LOVE these sweet little houses! There are so many great ideas out there of how to transform these cuties. For mine, I kept it simple. I started by priming the houses… I then chalk painted the houses, leaving the roofs natural…. Using glue and glass glitter, I covered the roofs with a glistening sparkle! Click HERE for the glass…

Then, out of the blue, my little brother stopped by and brought me the cutest tool box. He had recently found it at a thrift store, and knew I would love it! It was a miracle! I now had the perfect piece to use for the thrift store challenge! Some people might not use a tool box on their entryway table, but I couldn’t resist! Perfect patina deserves…

Fall/Thanksgiving Table Setting Ideas
Happy Sunday, friends!! I hope y’all are enjoying this beautiful fall weekend! Before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here! I love creating tablescapes! I usually create a few different fall/thanksgiving tablescapes leading up to the big day, and then create my final version the night before, that way I won’t have to stress about it on the actual day. You may remember this tablescape that I created a last year…. And then changed it up, just a bit, with this eucalyptus and foraged berry runner down the center of the table. I made it by simply layering eucalyptus and some foraged berries down the center, no wiring required! I…

French Vintage Friday – make your own vintage inspired bread boards
Happy Friday, friends!! I hope you all had a great week! Today, for French Vintage Friday, I’m sharing something that I recently made, vintage inspired bread boards. I’ve seen some amazing collections of these lovely boards, but when it comes to actually finding some, that’s hard to do! So what could I do? Make my own! For these boards, I used a basic, one inch thick, pine board purchased from Lowe’s. I started by deciding how wide I wanted the handle to be. I ended up making it two inches wide. I cut one side, and then used my cutout to stencil the other side. After both sides are cut,…
