Early Autumn Vibes in my Entryway

Hi friends!! I hope you’re having a wonderful day! Can you believe fall is almost here, just a couple of short weeks away! It’s time to start adding all those cozy vibes to your home, which is why I am so excited to be joining a group of 30 amazing bloggers today for a Harvest Home tour, hosted by Kristi at French Creek Farmhouse. There isn’t a season that I don’t love! I love watching the world around me change through the power of mother nature. I have to admit, the end of summer/early fall might be my favorite time of all! I love being able to walk outside barefoot to gather flowers from my garden and yet feel the cool breeze of autumn float through the air. The leaves are slowly starting to change colors and pumpkins are just about ready to be harvested. Fall is almost here!!!

When adding seasonal touches to my home, I always look to mother nature. What is in bloom? What can I harvest?

For my entryway, I looked around outside to see what I could find. I gathered some acorns that had fallen from the trees above and clipped a few branches. I love oak leaves! Whether they are green or have started to change color as the weather is getting cooler, oak leaves always remind me of fall.

Although my entryway is quite small, it is one of my very favorite places to decorate. I want my entryway to feel cozy and welcoming, yet unique and charming as it is the first thing people see when they walk into my home. It is the space that sets the tone for the rest of my home so it is usually the first space that gets a little seasonal love.

Candles and/or lamps are a must for me, especially during the fall/winter months when the days are getting shorter and I’m looking to add all those cozy vibes to my home. The soft, subtle glow of candlelight feels so cozy! Add a seasonal pillow or two, and a cozy throw and it feels like fall to me!
