Quick space refresh – switching out light fixtures

Hi friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far!! Last month Tara and I had so much fun blogging every Thursday about Christmas, so we thought it would be fun to continue with our Thursday blogging. Every Thursday we are going to share a quick and easy tip, tip, or project.

Something that I love to do to quickly freshen up a space is switch out light fixtures. it is so easy to do and can add a new look to the space.

Here is a diagram to make things easier! It’s as simple as black wire to black wire, white to white, and copper (ground wire) to copper. Make sure to play it safe and connect your ground wire first!

I had some pendant lights over my island that I love

For a change, I switched them out for these beautiful hand-blown glass pendants from LesTroisPyramides.

LesTroisPyramides Etsy shop is full of beautiful hand-crafted pieces. Use the code Emily20 for 20% off

These pendant lights are unique one-of-a-kind finds, made by a true artisan. I am so excited to have these beauties hanging in my kitchen for a fresh new look.

I put the old pendant lights in my basement storage room, I will pull them out when I want to change the look of this space again. switching out the light fixtures such a quick and easy way to freshen a space and give it a new look!
