The 12 DIYs of Christmas – whimsical winter wreath

Hi friends!! Happy Saturday! I hope you all have had a wonderful week! Today, for seasonal Saturdays, Tara and I are Sharing our first of 12 DIYs for this holiday season.

My DIY was super easy to make and very inexpensive. I love how this wreath turned out!!

What you need for this DIY

• wreath – I couldn’t find a wreath that I liked, so I used a flocked garland that I shaped into a wreath. The garland ended up being less expensive and is much fuller than any wreath that I saw.

• lights – I used plug-in lights, but if you don’t have a plug nearby, I’d opt for battery powered lights

• ribbons – hobby lobby always has such a great selection!

• small houses – the houses that I used came from Walmart.

I clipped the wires to a shorter length and placed them directly into the wreath. You could also remove the wire completely and use glue or wire to attach the houses to the wreath.

I also added lights and ribbons, and it was done! So simple and so cute!!
