Today I am sharing my very first Holiday DIY for the season. This darling mushroom wreath was so easy to make and added so much charm to my beloved cabinet!
What you’ll need
• mushrooms – these are from Hobby Lobby. They were $3.99 each, but 50% off, making them just $2 each!!! They will definitely sell out fast so get them while you can!
• any wreath that you’d like – I used THIS wreath for mine
• small pinecones
• ribbons
• fairy lights
• hot glue gun
I like to start by hanging my bare wreath so I can see how it looks throughout the creation process. After my wreath was hung on my hutch, I added some extra pinecones and some fairy lights. Now it was time to add the mushrooms!
I wanted to add a little height to a couple of the mushrooms, so I glued them onto a small piece of a branch from my yard before gluing them to the wreath.
Using a hot glue gun, I secured all of the darling mushrooms to my wreath. To finish it off I added some ribbons
I seriously love how it turned out!! So whimsical and so fun!
