Happy Monday, lovely friends!! I hope y’all had a lovely Mother’s Day weekend!
I am so excited for our monthly clearance challenge! Per usual, I waited until the very last minute to go out and search for some clearance items for this challenge. I was able to find a few things from Michael’s and Hobby Lobby.
From Michael’s, I found a little unfinished wooden drawer thing, and a darling terra-cotta pot. I love terra-cotta pots! The pot was originally $12, but it was 60% off, with an additional 20% off coupon, making it a little less than $4. And the little drawers were originally $10, but because it was missing three out of four knobs, I got it for just $3!
And, a sweet little cloche from Hobby Lobby….With these finds, I immediately thought spring/gardening.
For the drawers, I started by staining them a dark walnut color.
Then chalk painted them in white, and slightly distressed them…Added a coat of “moss” green chalk paint and some dark antiquing wax. To finish these little drawers off, I painted some little knobs, that I purchased from Hobby Lobby for $2.50.
Isn’t it such a darling little seed packet/plant marker organizer? I love spring, and love all thing flowers!!
And, of course, those tulips from my garden…LOVE!!
