Furniture Transformation ~ Roll Top Desk

Happy Thursday, friends!!

Three out of four of my boys had very successful first day(s) of school. My oldest, who is in middle school, doesn’t start for two and a half weeks, but I’m sure his first day will be amazing too! The middle school that he will be attending is still under construction, so all the kids that are enrolled at this particular middle school, are doing online school until it’s finished. It’s kinda like an extended summer break! He’s loving it!!

When back to school rolls around, I always get an itching to get my house really clean and well organized again after the chaos of summer break. So when my husband brought this roll top desk home a couple weeks ago, I was excited!

It could be a little place to keep all the school work, important school papers, and even a place to sit to do a little homework.

And the best part, I knew it would look amazing coated in my favorite color of paint…white!!!

And, of course, I distressed it.

Spray painted the drawer pulls black.

Styled it, and then tried to find a place for it in my house. It was about two inches too wide for the space that I had envisioned it being,

so I sold it.

With the money that I got from selling it, I bought something that I am SOOOOO excited about! You will see my new find in a blog post in the near future!

Hope y’all wonderful day!!!

I will be back tomorrow with a fun blog post….hint: it has some fall vibes!

Lots of love to you all!!
