A Few Simple Christmas Touches To My Dining Room

This year, I added just a few small Christmas touches to my dining area.

First of all, I have to tell you…these stocking are my favorite!! Y’all know how much I LOVE lace! These lace beauties are so cute, and are even cuter in person! They are from Free People, two years ago. I had my eye set on them all season, but waited for them to go on major sale after Christmas. Because my home has an open floor plan, there isn’t a dining room per say, but just a dining area between, the kitchen and the family room. I have four boys, needless to say, I don’t create entire tablescapes often. But, I do love to fill this antique Amish tool box, with seasonal loveliness, for an everyday centerpiece. It is filled with lots of fresh greenery, red berries, eucalyptus (that I spray painted gold), pinecones, and candles. It’s the perfect centerpiece for our everyday, casual meals. If you want the step by step instructions, for that DIY candle holder, with the gold truck/tree on it, click HERE . And, I’m of course, loving my $15 village that I made to adorn the shelves of my ironstone cabinet! If you missed the post on these sweet little DIY houses, you can check it out, by clicking HERE
