I could polish these cake servers, to make them look shiny and new, but I just love the old and tarnished look! Maybe one day I will polish them!
I absolutely adore vintage pieces!! They don’t make things like they used to!

I love collecting vintage silver serving pieces as well and, occasionally, will use the tin foil, boiling water and baking soda bath to remove the tarnish. All of my pieces have been purchased at thrift stores so I don’t concern myself about any possible damage this technique might cause, but, so far, I have noticed none.
