Hi friends!! I hope you all are having a lovely weekend! Tonight I am headed to the Nutcracker with my mom and sisters which made me want to share these sweet nutcrackers for my DIY today.
My DIY is super simple. I started with some unfinished wooden nutcrackers that I found at Michael’s. I’ve also seen them at Hobby Lobby and Joann’s.

I stained the nutcrackers in the Minwax color “early American“.

After the stain was dry, using a small brush, I added a little white and red paint to areas of the nutcrackers.

Although the changes that I made to the nutcrackers were so minor and simple, it completely changed the look of these nutcrackers.

I love how they turned out!! I think they look so cute in my ironstone cabinet, next to my winter white village.
