LeCultivateur I’m so excited that tomorrow if Friday!! Summer break is officially in full swing here. My boys and I are loving the warm weather and being outside!
This summer, I am making a more conscience effort to take a little time everyday to do something that I enjoy. While I LOVE being a mom and doing all the mom things, there are some other things that I love to do too. I think it’s so important to invest time into ourselves too! It’s hard to do, but is so worth it. Something that I really enjoy doing is giving new life to furniture. This week, I found this darling little dresser that was in desperate need of a little TLC.
She looked a little rough to start, but I saw her potential immediately! With just a couple coats of white paint, a little distressing, and new hardware, she is totally transformed!
I had plans to put this dresser somewhere in my home, but I couldn’t find the perfect place, so I listed it on the FB marketplace. In no time at all, I had several people that wanted to buy it, which led me to want to do this more often, just for fun! Finding cute pieces of furniture, giving them new life, and finding them a new home, is what I will be doing more often!!

Hi Emily I also love painting furniture. Seeing the transformation is not only fun but a creative outlet that I love. Many of my friends say I could make a nice amount of money. I use different techniques, wax, glaze and certain pieces gilding here and there.

I was wondering if FB Marketplace is a viable option. If healthier I would absolutely done it for a living.
