Keeping Your Home Warm and Cozy Throughout Winter
Photo source Winter is both a beautiful season and a challenging one at the same time. Keeping warm and cozy around your home can be a challenge in some states, but the spectacular scenery that the season brings is almost worth it. An article by Aeon suggests there’s an element of regeneration about winter; but it isn’t just in nature, but in your own tendency to remain at home, hibernating away in the evenings until the warm summer sun reappears. Whilst you’re at home you must face the challenge of making it as warm and inviting as you can, fighting off any harsh weather. There is a certain romance in…

Happy Monday, friends!!! I hope your weekend was amazing! I got very little done, but somehow left the weekend feeling exhausted! But, it’s a new week, and I’m ready to get a lot done! Let’s start by talking about these gold lanterns… Every time I post a picture of them, I get a bunch of questions, both on the blog and on IG, about where I bought them, so I thought I would show y’all how I created these little gems. Creating a cozy and inviting space
Happy Sunday, sweet friends! How’s your weekend going? We finally got some snow this week. My boys even had a snow day! While the snow magically fell from the sky, we spent the day in our pajamas, snuggled under warm blankets, with candles lit, and enjoyed being in our cozy house. It was such a perfect day!! When trying to create a cozy space, I naturally think of lots of cozy textures, throw pillows, blankets, etc. Fresh/natural elements, such as fresh greenery, flowers, and/or house plants. Also, cozy…

Happy Friday, friends!! Yay for the weekend!! Today, for French Vintage Friday, I’m sharing my love for small glass bottles. My collection is still quite small, but I’m loving how versatile these little bottles are! I got these little gems a couple weeks ago at a local antique shop. They were each less than $2! I love the slight purple tint of the glass! Y’all know how much I love fresh flowers, which is probably why I love these little bottles so much…they make the perfect bud vases!! Often times, I get carried away with my decor, but simplicity always speaks to my heart! I mixed old and new glass…

Quick and Easy Tablescape Ideas
Happy Thursday, friends!!! Today I’m sharing a few tips and tricks that I have found super helpful when creating a tablescape. Before I started using the trick that I’m about to share with y’all, I rarely ever put tablescapes/centerpieces on my table. It was always such a hassle to take all of the elaborate decor down when it was time to have dinner, and if I did keep it on the table, it would have been completely destroyed by the end of the meal….four boys! What’s this magic trick, you’re wondering? Using a riser to put your centerpiece on! Easy, right!! I built this simple wood riser, last year. Click…

Look at those details, they are stunning, and the craftsmanship is impeccable! It is the Provencal Butter Dish from Vagabond House.
