Favorite Things Thursday ~ Simple Spring Decor
Can you believe that tomorrow is March 1st? Time flies by so fast sometimes!! I have started to add a few spring touches around my home, which is really making me even more excited for spring to arrive!!! I added a few touches of spring, mostly to my ironstone/white dishes cabinet.
This cabinet is always the first thing that gets a seasonal touch. It’s one of my favorite places to decorate.
For the top of the cabinet, I wanted a springy/gardening vibe. Probably because I can hardly wait to get outside and work in my flower beds!!
And, of course, I am so loving my new/old chair for spring!!
Also, I have received quite a few questions about these curtains. They are made out of drop cloths, and completely no sewing involved. If you want the full tutorial on them, just click HERE.
Thank you so much for visiting LeCultivateur!!! I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to read my blog, and for leaving me such sweet and encouraging comments!đź’—

Did you “age” your flower pots or buy them as is? I love the look. Your cabinet looks great!

Thank you so much!! I bought a few of them “aged” looking, but most of them, I brushed a thin coat of white chalk paint on them, and then ran them under water while the paint was still pretty wet, washing off most of the paint, and leaving them with an “aged” look.

Thanks! When it finally warms up I will try that on some of my pots. You are so clever!
