We decided that we would each share five fall DIYs with y’all today! It could be past years DIYS, or new DIYs. Glass Glittered Pumpkins
Happy, happy Friday!! So, y’all know how much I adore vintage and DIYs? These pumpkins, with vintage glass glitter, have a vintage vibe that helps them fit right in with all of my vintage treasures, in my DIY china hutch. Here’s how simple they are to make… Find some faux pumpkins with a cute shape. Carefully pull the stem out, unless you want to glitter the stem too. Brush with glue, and sprinkle with glitter. After dry, reinsert the stem, and that’s it! Super easy!! I’m loving them in my china hutch, surrounded by ironstone, transferware, and other vintage dishes and treasures! Isn’t that little pumpkin boy adorable? I found…

Natural Acorn Wreath
Happy Labor Day weekend!! Can you believe that summertime is coming to an end, it’s doesn’t officially end until September 23, but Labor Day is usually when the pools close, kids are back in school, and summer is starting to wind down. Here’s a super simple diy as we head into the fall months. All you need is acorns, glue, grapevine wreath, and clear spray paint. Using a hot glue gun, glue acorns all around the grapevine wreath. Keep glueing the acorns on, until you’re satisfied with how it looks. Spray a nice coat of clear spray paint (I used a satin sheen) to seal them. Let dry, and you…

Glittered Acorn Garland
Happy Friday, friends!! Want to know how to make a super easy fall garland? First, gather your supplies… Acorns, glue, glitter, card stock, leaf pattern to trace, and ribbon Start by removing the caps from the acorns. Brush glue on to the acorn caps, and sprinkle with glitter. Then, using a hot glue gun, put a drop of glue in the glittered acorn cap. Sandwich the ribbon between the top and bottom of the acorn, gluing the ribbon in to place. I tied knots on both sides of the ribbon, in between each acorn. Now for the glittered leaves… Trace your pattern onto white card stock, I used faux leaves…

Front Porch ~ Subtle Falls Vibes
Happy Thursday, friends! I’m late to posting today…We were out late at my oldest son’s football game. It’s so much fun to watch him play, but by the time we got home, got everyone showered, read to, and in bed, I was exhausted and fell right to sleep. Although exhausting, these are my favorite kind of days! I LOVE family time!! I am a summer girl, through and through, but I do love so much about fall! All the beautiful colors of nature, the cooler weather, and all of the cozy feels. This summer, Plow and Hearth sent me a gift card, I was so excited! I hadn’t ever shopped…

Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop 343
Welcome to the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop! I hope everyone had a wonderful week! I’m hearting all the fall posts on the party last week!! The bees and butterflies are having a ball this week grabbing all the nectar they can since the rains have stopped for a while. Before long, all the color from annuals will be gone. I’m still waiting for cooler air to creep in. But, who am I kidding? I live in the deep south and it doesn’t cool down until November or so. For those of you who experience cooler temps, send some south!! Top Viewed Simple Redo of Old Deck to New Fabulous French…

Thrifted Treasure ~ August
Happy, happy Monday!! It is time for our monthly “Thrifted Treasure” challenge! This month for my thrifted treasure, I found a pair of candle sconces. I have been looking for quite some time for a pair of candle sconces that would look good above my mantel. When I first saw these sconces, I knew they’d be perfect! I love the shape of them, and for just $5 each, how could I say “no”? At first glance, they’re a little too country decor for me, but add little white chalk paint, gold Rub’n Buff, a little sanding and distressing, and they are now perfectly my style! And, of course, once the…

Furniture Transformation ~ Roll Top Desk
Happy Thursday, friends!! Three out of four of my boys had very successful first day(s) of school. My oldest, who is in middle school, doesn’t start for two and a half weeks, but I’m sure his first day will be amazing too! The middle school that he will be attending is still under construction, so all the kids that are enrolled at this particular middle school, are doing online school until it’s finished. It’s kinda like an extended summer break! He’s loving it!! When back to school rolls around, I always get an itching to get my house really clean and well organized again after the chaos of summer break.…
