Hi friends!!! I’m so excited to be joining some very talented ladies today for a fun blog hop, all about vintage books, hosted by the very sweet Cindy from County Road 407.
When decorating, there are two things that I almost always add to a space, fresh flowers/greenery and vintage books. Those are my go-to staples of decor. I absolutely adore old books! Their charm and character gives me all the feels!
I was planning on sharing a few different areas in my home, in which I have used vintage books to decorate. Then yesterday, on a whim, I decided to clean and refresh my living room. And, turns out, I used A LOT of vintage books, so that is what I shall show y’all.
First things first, I cleared out the entire room, and cleaned it….the floors and baseboards were so dusty and dirty! Ewww!
And now, dusted, cleaned, and refreshed…
As you can see, vintage books are such a staple in my decor! I adore the charm that they add to my home!!
I can’t wait to see what the other girls have done with vintage books in their decor! Simply click on the links below to check them out too!
I hope you have a fabulous Mother’s Day weekend, celebrating all the women (grandmothers, mothers, soon to be mothers, women who want so desperately to become mothers, sisters, aunts, etc.) in your life!
So much love to you all!
~Emily

Hi Emily,
I’m right there with you, love using antique books when decorating. At times there are more than others but they are always in my decor. Love finding random old books thrifting too.
Beautiful as always my friend! I’m trying to be patient Wai for my lilacs to open. Can’t wait!
Cindy
Thank you so much!!!
Such a lovely spring space, Emily! You have used books beautifully in your decor! I love the book without a cover…so accents the pretty illustration! Pinning!
Thank you so much!!!
Your living room looks gorgeous, Emily. Having it freshly cleaned and decorated has to be a great feeling. I’m so much enjoying how everyone is using vintage books.
Thank you so much!!!
Just beautiful Emily! I love how you’ve styled with the books , it’s all so inviting.
Can one ever have enough books! Nope, not at all!!
I have them in every room. Some rooms I even have them in a few different places! Books just bring something to a room, even if you don’t read them..
Teresa

This room is so comfortable yet elegant. I see so many goodies in it and you’ve styled the books perfectly as well. Makes me want to rearrange my room but not really liking the idea of doing the baseboards. 😉 So glad you joined in! Pinned
